You want an old Swedish car like the Saab 900, but you need a bigger trunk. Or maybe you want a Volvo 240 wagon, but you'd rather have FWD because it is easier in the winter. This Swede obviously had the same problem, but went out to fix it himself.
The result is a bit odd looking. At the front it looks like a Saab, but at the back it's the familiar Volvo brick. You might think this is crazy, and road illegal in all possible ways. But this two door wagon shooting brake has recently passed the Swedish tests, and are in fact legal to use. Look, it even has license plates on!
The seller says there are some small issues, like the missing rear fender and the tailgate rust, but apparently it works great. You do get a lot of attention in this car, he says. I believe him..
But you won't pay over 1000 dollars for a bastard of a car? Or would you look at it as getting two Swedish classics in one car?

Who was it that just said anything that had any major "upgrades" done to it was instant CP?
They're right, oh so right.

Impressive. I would totally give them $1300 for this gem of a starter. All the hard work is done. you would FREAK OUT some Swedish car fans. The gears in my brain are spinning in weird ways. In fact, I'll be in my bunk

I just can't get the feeling out of my head that, like Frankenstein's monster, this thing would turn on you and it would cost you dearly.

Would be fun to take to a Swedish car show and park in between the Volvo and Saab sectors.

Nice price! I'm a little strange admittedly but I really like it and think it would look very nice in beige.
